Capoeira Irmandade Presents: Brazilian Cultural Festa!

Come support Capoeira Irmandade and join us for food and festivities on Saturday, May 21st! Starts at 5pm and ends late.
We’ll be hosting a BBQ, dancing, music, art show, and a raffle. Come watch some demonstrations including a capoeira demo and maculele presentation. For the raffle, there are some amazing prizes lined up and you could win anything from a berimbau to a photo shoot and more!
$10 suggested donation at the door with… opportunities throughout the night to purchase raffle tickets. More updates will be posted as the date approaches.
UPDATE: help us preserve our floors! If attending, be sure to wear shoes you can take off easily (no worries, the floors are CLEAN). 😀
5pm-7pm: open, begin BBQ, browse art, etc.
6pm: start serving food
7pm: samba lesson + dancing
…8-8:20: capoeira demo
8:40-8:45pm: maculele demo
9pm: raffle
9:30-12: open floor for dancing
*purchasing raffle/meal/drink tickets will be available upon entrance at the door and throughout the night (meals end at 10pm)
